About Me
I am a Post-graduate (PhD) research student with the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Science,
Faculty of Science at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. My research project is under the supervision
of Prof.Shoba Ranganathan and Prof.Helena Nevalainen.
My research interest lies in the development of information system for the life sciences through integration and analysis of biological data.
Current research involves quantitative analysis of protein interaction network using graph-based network theory.
I am particularly interested in:
- Meta-analysis (statistical methods for combining results from various independent studies) and combining information from the multiple data-source to address biological problems.
- Understanding Human disease conditions by combining information from Genetics and Genomics.
- Bioinformatics tool development for modern genetic and genomic analysis.
