Hello friends! i'm Gaurav Kumar,I develop information systems for the life sciences through integration and analysis of Biological data.
At present I'm pursuing my Doctor of Philosophy at Macquire University, Sydney, Australia.
I'm registered with division of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences, under the department of
Environmental and Life Sciences.My research project is under the supervision
of Prof. Shobha Ranganathan and
Prof. Helena Nevalainen. My research title is "Bioinformatics Integration and Analysis of Omic Data".
Previously, I was employed as a Bioinformatician cum Perl developer at Genseq,Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
I also worked in a Bioinformatics company Biobase,Bangalore, India.
I did my master (M.Sc by Research) in Computation Biology/Bioinformatics
from NCBS-TIFR,Bangalore, India. I was in the group of
Prof. R. Sowdhamini

I come from a place called Patna, capital city of Bihar, India. It was once capital city of Magadh empire ruled by King Ashoka.
I did my schooling from this city. I joined Woodland High School for my Kindergartens. I was in Sanik School Tilaiya for 2 years
before joining Loyola high School, Patna.After matriculation from Loyola in 1995, I went on to join Patna Central School for my +2.
I joined B.N College Biotechnology Department for my Bachelors.
